      (Newser) - Golfweek has fired its editor for approving a cover illustration of a noose, the New York Times reports. PGA commissioner Tim Finchem decried the art, a reference to a recent on-air remark by a Golf Channel anchor about Tiger Woods, as “outrageous and irresponsible.” Finchem called the cover a “naked attempt to inflame” the incident, which was already heading to “an appropriate conclusion.” More »
