(Newser) - Martin Biron stopped 20 shots in his second straight shutout and led the Philadelphia Flyers to a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh tonight that cost the Penguins the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Shorthanded Senators can't handle Flyers' balanced scoring attack

(Newser) - Philadelphia continued its stellar play last night, blasting Ottawa, the top team in the Eastern Conference, 6-1, at Wachovia Center. The Flyers got two goals and an assist from Scottie Upshall and single tallies from four others in pasting the injury-riddled Senators, who were missing captain Daniel Alfredsson and Dany Heatley. (Newser) - Philadelphia goalie Antero Niittymaki was the hero against Minnesota, stopping two five-on-threes and making 28 saves in his fourth start of the year, a 3-1 win. over Islanders

(Newser) - Philadelphia improved its Wachovia Center record to 6-0, behind sharp goalkeeping by Martin Biron, a brace of scores by Scottie Upshall, and a chaotic game-winner by Mike Richards.
