      Scott Boras, fired by Alex Rodriguez over the winter, is trying to play peacemaker between the Yankees star and his estranged wife, the New York Daily News reports. Boras met with the couple over the weekend in Toronto, where Cynthia Rodriguez had brought daughter Natasha, 3, to visit her father.       Canadian authorities are set to lift the quarantine on a train en route from Vancouver to Toronto after determining that the 60-year-old passenger who died aboard earlier today "most likely did not have an infectious disease," CTV reports.       Legendary jazz pianist Oscar Peterson died last night at his home near Toronto from kidney failure, CBC News reports. He was 82. The Canadian musician made hundreds of recordings, won seven Grammys, and played alongside greats like Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, and Ella Fitzgerald.
