      (Newser) - Two weeks ago, Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder shocked the NFL by hiring Jim Zorn as offensive coordinator before he had hired a head coach. Today, Snyder topped that by making Zorn his head coach, reports the Washington Post .       Giants Reward Spagnuolo for Staying

      (Newser) - The Washington Redskins loss is the New York Giants gain. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo took himself out of the running for the Redskins coaching job and instead accepted a three-year contract from the Giants yesterday, reports for New York Times. The contract, which pays $2 million a season, makes Spagnuolo one of the highest paid defensive coordinators in the NFL. More »
