Miami scores fewest baskets in history as Boston's backups romp, 88-62

(Newser) - In a season of ignominy, Miami reached a new level of embarrassment, setting the modern NBA record for fewest baskets scored with 17 in an 88-62 loss in Boston. Celts Win Battle of the Battered

With both teams minus two starters, Boston tops Indiana 104-97

(Newser) - With two of their frontcourt disabled, and a third in foul trouble, the injury-stricken Celtics topped the equally short-handed Pacers, 104-97. Paul Pierce carried the team with 28 points and 12 boards, and breakout bench star Leon Powe added 16 and 9 in the win. Indiana was missing forward Jermaine O'Neal and point guard Jamaal Tinsley.
