Gomes' Late Free Throws Lift Timberwolves 

Final-second three-pointer is off the mark as Orlando falls

(Newser) - Ryan Gomes made a pair of free throws with 2.9 seconds remaining to give the Minnesota Timberwolves a 102-101 victory over the playoff-bound Orlando on Friday.
