Amy Poehler missed work last night, but she had a very good excuse: The Saturday Night Live star gave birth yesterday to a baby boy named Archie, the Huffington Post reports. It's the first child for Poehler and her hubby and fellow comedian, Will Arnett. Poehler had been rehearsing for the latest SNL up to the last minute, but Archie had other plans. This means that last week's show was Poehler's last as a regular.

This time, Fey parodied the candidate's foibles during her interview with Katie Couric, reports Comedy Centric. In the opening sketch, Fey, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Palin, is stumped by a question from Amy Poehler’s Couric and asks “to use one of my lifelines—I’d like to phone a friend,” she says.

The Emmy-nominated actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Will Arnett, won’t return to the show after her maternity leave, which starts in a few weeks.
