(AP) - A software glitch continues to cripple the baggage-handling system in an American Airlines terminal at JFK airport. The malfunction is giving headaches to passengers flying out of Terminal 8, one of the newer buildings at the airport. JFK Flights to Ease Delays

Move designed
to keep airports elsewhere on time

(Newser) - Transportation officials today capped the number of flights per hour at New York's JFK airport in a bid to keep flight delays from cascading around the country, the New York Times reports. Starting in March, JFK will be allowed up to 83 flights an hour, down from about 100 at peak times this summer. Newark's Liberty airport will get similar limits, but those numbers have yet to be determined. More »

(Newser) - Four people have been charged with conspiring to bomb fuel tanks at JFK Airport, igniting fuel lines and causing a huge explosion. Three are in federal custody, NewsChannel 4 reported today, and one is being sought in Trinidad.
