      SNL Wants Tina to Play Sarah

      (Newser) - Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels is in talks with Tina Fey to return to the show to play Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The former SNL head writer could take on "The Barracuda" as early as the show's season premiere tomorrow. "There are discussions (with Tina)," Michaels said.       'Dr. Greene' to Return to ER

      (AP) - Dr. Mark Greene is coming back to ER , but he's not coming back from the dead. Anthony Edwards will reprise the role of Greene, who died of a brain tumor at the end of the 2002 season, in flashback scenes in the Nov. 13 episode, NBC says. Other County General alumni will also make cameos during the show's 15th and final season, but there's no word yet on the show's most famous alum, George "Dr. Doug Ross" Clooney. More »

      (Newser) - Michael J. Fox will return to the small screen next year in a four-episode guest role on FX's "Rescue Me,” the AP reports. The “Spin City” star, whose symptoms of Parkinson’s disease have become evident since his 1991 diagnosis, will play the wheelchair-bound love-interest of the Denis Leary character’s estranged wife.
