In the fifth inning of a 3-0, 10-inning loss to the Blue Jays, Cabrera caught Lyle Overbay's sinking liner, stepped on second to force Kevin Mench, and tagged out Marco Scutero, the Plain Dealer reports. Blackburn (1-1) earned his first major league win with veteran poise by using the defense behind him to escape a couple of jams.
