      (Newser) - While much of the response to the guilty verdict against OJ Simpson has been mixed—and muted—the father of murder victim Ron Goldman is delighted, reports the New York Daily News . Fred Goldman said he was "thrilled to see that this SOB" will "hopefully go to jail for the rest of his life." OJ was acquitted 13 years ago of killing ex-wife Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. More »

      (Newser) - OJ Simpson’s lawyer has said that “you would have to be living on another planet” to not anticipate his client’s guilty verdict, reports the Las Vegas Sun . Simpson was found guilty on all 12 counts of armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges late last night and could be in jail for life after his December 5 sentencing.       (AP) - Neil Entwistle showed no reaction today as he was sentenced to two life prison terms without the opportunity for parole for shooting his wife and infant daughter as they cuddled together in bed. The British-born Massachusetts resident was convicted yesterday of the 2006 killings. Entwistle claims his wife killed the baby and then committed suicide. More »

      (AP) - A British man who fled the US after his wife and baby daughter were shot to death in their home was convicted of murder today by a Massachusetts jury. Neil Entwistle’s lawyer had argued that the wife killed her 9-month old baby and herself. Prosecutors said Entwistle was in debt and dissatisfied with his sex life when he killed his family in their bed and then left for England. More »
