      A bank teller pregnant with twins was shot during a robbery today in Indianapolis, but her fetuses were not directly injured, the Indianapolis Star reports. Katherine Sheffield, 30, is in serious to critical condition after a gunman walked into the bank where she worked and fired two shots into her abdomen before escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. The final negotiation deadline for sanctioning fees came and went yesterday without an agreement, the Indianapolis Star reports, and both sides announced that they were nowhere near a final contract.       Faulty Knee Forces Faulk Out

      The knee injury that sidelined Marshall Faulk last season has officially ended his career. Faulk will announce his retirement Monday, March 26, at the NFL owners' meetings. Faulk retires ninth in all-time NFL career rushing with 12,279 yards, and tied for sixth with 100 touchdowns. In 2000, he ran in a (since broken) record 26 touchdowns, and was named MVP. More »
