      (Newser) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie—soon to be proud parents of six—are doling out $1 million for other people's kids, AP reports. The Jolie-Pitt Foundation will give counseling and educational aid to Iraqis and Americans who have lost their parents, homes or schools in the Iraqi War.       Times Staffer Slain in Baghdad

      (Newser) - An Iraqi reporter in the New York Times Baghdad bureau was shot and killed today on his way to work. Khalid Hassan, 23, is the second Iraqi Times employee and the 110th journalist killed in Iraq since 2003. Bureau chief John F. Burns described Hassan, a  4-year Times veteran, as "a resourceful and brave member of our news team." More »

      (Newser) - The body count in yesterday's suicide bombing of a market in Amerli, in northern Iraq, is up to 150, making it the year's worst bomb attack in Iraq, the LA Times reports.
