Hill drives in 3 to give Blue Jays ace all the support he needs

(Newser) - Roy Halladay threw a six-hit complete game, and Aaron Hill drove in three runs to lead the Toronto Blue Jays past the Texas Rangers 4-1 last night. Marlon Byrd broke up Halladay's shutout bid with an RBI double with one out in the ninth. Halladay (2-1) struck out six, walked one and threw 109 pitches for his 32nd complete game. More »

Frank Thomas hit his 11th career grand slam, Vernon Wells added a two-run homer and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Red Sox 7-4 Sunday to complete a three-game sweep of the World Series champions. Toronto 3rd base coach accuses Damon, Duncan of "terrible" slides

(Newser) - The Blue Jays third base coach accused two Yankees of "terrible" slides that endangered his middle infielders, a perpetuation of the bad blood between the teams that began with A-Rod's infielder-distracting yawp on May 30.
