Spielberg and his wife join Brad Pitt—who gave the same amount last week—as major celebrity opponents of the ban. (Newser) - Four San Diego firefighters ordered by officials to drive their truck in the city's gay pride parade last year are suing for $3 million in damages for sexual harassment, reports the Los Angeles Times . The four, who were given their orders by the city’s lesbian fire chief, say the suit is a protest against the lewd comments lobbed at them during the parade, and is “not an anti-gay thing.” The trial starts today. (Newser) - Activists are launching a website to line up support for Barack Obama among the 15% of still-undecided lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered voters, the Advocate reports. LGBTforObama.com emphasized the Democrat’s gay-friendly record, and spotlights “a star-studded lineup of bloggers.” The founder conceived the project to stop John McCain capturing a fraction of the gay vote similar to the 24% the GOP garnered in 2004.
