      Madonna Will Pay Ex $76M

      (AP) - Madonna has settled her divorce with Guy Ritchie for at least $76 million, the singer's rep said today. "I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement," Liz Rosenberg told the AP. The settlement could total as much as $92 million, including the value of the couple's home in western England. Ritchie will also hang on to a pub the couple owns in London. She added while the financial component of the settlement had been worked out, custodial arrangements for the couple's children have yet to be finalized. More »

      (Newser) - Madonna wants $7.5 million in damages from a British newspaper that admitted to violating copyright and privacy laws in publishing photos from her wedding to Guy Ritchie, the Guardian reports today. Her lawyer says the photos were stolen, and the damages reflect their worth. “Their true commercial value today is indicated by the very modest sum we … paid for them,” a spokesman said of the Mail on Sunday ’s $7,500 outlay.
