Jered Weaver allowed one hit over seven innings and batterymate Mike Napoli hit a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in the eighth, leading the Los Angeles Angels to a 2-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night. A.J. Pierzynski's leadoff single in the fifth was the only hit off Weaver. The right-hander struck out six and walked one, coming out of the game after 109 pitches. More »

Vladimir Guerrero homered and drove in four runs, Nick Adenhart recorded his first major league victory and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Chicago White Sox 10-7 on Monday night to snap a four-game losing streak. Raul Ibanez hit a two-run homer in the third inning and the Seattle Mariners beat the Chicago White Sox 6-3 today to snap a five-game losing streak. Jose Lopez and Ichiro Suzuki each went 3-for-4 for the Mariners, who finished with 13 hits. It was Seattle's most hits since it collected 10 in a 7-3 win over Texas last Monday. More »

Right-hander Jesse Litsch (4-1) gave up two runs and five hits in 7 1/3 innings for Toronto, which has won three straight after losing eight of nine. Wells went 3-for-5 with three singles.
