Alex Rodriguez plans to ask the Florida courts to enforce the prenup he and estranged wife, Cynthia, signed, the Daily News reports. The Yankee slugger acknowledges their marriage is “irretrievably broken” and wants the courts to disregard his soon-to-be-ex's allegations of "extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct" because Florida is a no-fault divorce state, making the matter "immaterial and impertinent."

Rodriguez will join clients like Quentin Tarantino and Eminem at William Morris, along with sports figures such as Serena Williams, Dwyane Wade, and Kevin Garnett.

Scott Boras, fired by Alex Rodriguez over the winter, is trying to play peacemaker between the Yankees star and his estranged wife, the New York Daily News reports. Boras met with the couple over the weekend in Toronto, where Cynthia Rodriguez had brought daughter Natasha, 3, to visit her father. Boras "seems to be there with the blessing of the Yankees' front office," one source said, which "welcomes anyone who can get A-Rod's mind back onto baseball."

Alex Rodriguez smashed a 3-2 pitch from Toronto's Brian Tallet into the foul pole to claim his 537th career home run yesterday, surpassing Micky Mantle's record on the day Yankee great Bobby Murcer died. The All-Star didn't realize he had moved into 13th place on the all-time homer list until after the game, when he heard about Murcer's death, reports the New York Times.
