The Office actor Craig Robinson has been hit with drug possession and misdemeanor DUI charges, according to a complaint released today. Los Angeles police say they pulled Robinson over for a traffic violation this summer, discovered drugs in his car, and found him high on amphetamines, cocaine, and cannabis. The Pineapple Express co-star is slated to be in court later this month, People reports.

The FBI and Boston investigators confirmed today that accused kidnapper and con man "Clark Rockefeller" is indeed a German national named Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter. Analysts matched his fingerprints with those from an immigration document he filled out as a teenager almost 3 decades ago, the Boston Herald reports. Officials said he's not a citizen but is in the country legally.

A Philadelphia man faces federal extortion charges and 2 years in prison after confessing to attempting to blackmail Giants coach Tom Coughlin, the New York Daily News reports. The coach received letters purportedly from two women 2 weeks ago and notified the NFL, which passed along the evidence to the FBI, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.

The FBI's obsessive focus on the wrong anthrax suspect caused the agency to miss some important clues pointing to Bruce Ivins, the Los Angeles Times reports. Records of key-card swipes show that Ivins, who killed himself last month before being charged, spent hours in a "hot suite" with access to anthrax late at night before the 2001 anthrax mailing.

Christian Bale will not be charged in the alleged assault of his mother and sister, the BBC reports. A spokesman for the British prosecutor’s office said there was “insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction.” Bale and his family have been incommunicative with the press since the incident at a London hotel last month, after which Bale was arrested and questioned.

Connecticut ACLU officials are blasting a blanket 9pm teen curfew in Hartford and are considering challenging the crackdown in court, AP reports. The month-long curfew is due to begin tonight. The city announced the curfew after weekend shootings left one dead and 10 wounded. ACLU lawyers say the move violates minors' civil rights and punishes an entire demographic for the acts of a few people.

Police surveillance at a Tampa apartment complex resulted in 41 drug-related arrests, more than investigators expected, the Tampa Tribune reports. "I figured it would be four or five people," one deputy remarked. The bust turned up 67.7 grams of crack cocaine, 466.7 grams of marijuana, and $6,064 in cash. Five more warrants have been issued in connection with the case.

In a letter to the US Court of Appeals, Kaczynski writes that the Newseum’s display of the 10-by-12-foot cabin where he was captured flouts the “victims’ objection to publicity connected with the Unabom case,” the Washington Post reports.

The man who murdered John Lennon nearly 30 years ago was denied parole for a fifth time today, the Daily News reports. A state parole board panel blocked the release of Mark David Chapman, who shot the former Beatle outside his New York City apartment building in 1980, because of the premeditated nature of the attack. Yoko Ono had urged the board to keep Chapman behind bars.

An actor in The 40-Year-Old Virgin was arrested in San Diego last night on attempted murder charges for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend. Shelley Malil, 43, was nabbed on his way to meet with his attorney, who along with family and friends had persuaded him to turn himself in, police said. The woman is in critical condition with multiple stab wounds.
