A former St. Louis Rams player and some fans are trying to make Spygate very costly for the New England Patriots, reports the Boston Herald . A lawsuit was filed yesterday in U.S. District Court in New Orleans seeking $100 million from the Patriots for taping the Rams last walk-through practice before the 2002 Super Bowl. Georgia Frontiere, loved in St. Louis, hated in Los Angeles for moving the Rams east in 1995, died Friday at age 80, reports the Los Angeles Times . Ironically, Frontiere died at in LA, where she had been treated for breast cancer for several months. Frontiere inherited the Rams from her sixth husband, Carroll Rosenbloom, who drowned at age 72 in 1979. More »

After injuries ravaged the Rams at the safety position in the past two weeks, the team added some depth Tuesday afternoon by signing Bhawoh Jue to a one-year contract. Jue visited the Rams previously but was not signed to a deal. But with Corey Chavous battling a pectoral injury and Jerome Carter (foot) likely out for the season and Todd Johnson suffering a sprained neck against Arizona, the Rams needed to find somebody to provide depth. The knee injury that sidelined Marshall Faulk last season has officially ended his career. Faulk will announce his retirement Monday, March 26, at the NFL owners' meetings. Faulk retires ninth in all-time NFL career rushing with 12,279 yards, and tied for sixth with 100 touchdowns. In 2000, he ran in a (since broken) record 26 touchdowns, and was named MVP. More »
