Guns in America

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Americans love their guns. Sixty million people own 200 million guns—2 for every 3 Americans. And whether you believe they are essential for self-protection, suitable for recreation, or don't approve of private gun ownership, their cost is high—30,000 gun-related deaths a year.
