      Martin Biron’s 24 saves led the Philadelphia Flyers to a 2-0 victory over the Washington Capitals today. Biron kicked Alex Ovechkin's power-play wrist shot away in the first period, used the handle of his stick to deflect Alexander Semin's breakaway attempt in the second and sprawled on his back while corralling the puck with his arm to thwart Dave Steckel in the third.       Make room in the playoffs for MVP front-runner Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. Tomas Fleischmann, Sergei Fedorov and Alexander Semin scored for the Capitals, who clinched the Southeast Division title with a 3-1 victory over the Florida Panthers last night.       Trading for Cristobal Huet paid off again for the Washington Capitals tonight, reports the Associated Press. Huet recorded his second shutout for the Caps and 17th of his career by blanking the Florida Panthers, 4-0, making 32 saves. It was Huet's fourth shutout of the season.       The Capitals got the two points they needed tonight, but the Lightning didn’t give them up without a fight.
