About me:
|
I joined the US Air Force after I graduated High School and my mother died a painfull death from cancer. The USAF became my famly. I served in Viet Nam where I learned just how cruel people can be to each other. During my service I was injured and it progressed to my being confined to a wheel chair and in chronic pain that my doctors tell me will never go away so I am maintained on opiate medications to give me some relief. When we came home from Viet Nam we were met with screams of baby killers and other mean and cruel comments. I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran and was retired from the USAF. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Saint Anselm's College while I was on temporary disability leave from the USAF. I did an internship at the State Institute of Mental Health and at the Boys' Training School. I never thought I would get married but in 2004 I got married and don't regret it. Most of my time is spent with doctor's appointments. I enjoy watching movies--action or horror. My favorite TV Shows are "True Blood", "Dexter", Brotherhood", and "Crash". I spend a lot of time on the internet since I don't get out to socialize much or discuss current evets.
