No Fondue of course Obama did not write the bills. Thats congress's job. He did state the objectives for this bill, including a "public option" and prior to election he spoke about his desire for a single payor system, and how to get there. Explain how that is not a socialist endpoint. And being socialist does not make him evil or anything, just a bad option for this country, IMOHO. It looks like he will get the chance to prove me wrong. For my patients sake I hope he's right, but I suspect not.

Certainly not this editorial writer at Esquire, or a semi-anonymous commenter on Newser. And that is both of us! Just as none of us know what Obama truly believes or wants.

Because you seem to think that there are special classes of people. I believe that all people are created equal. The same crime should be punished the same way. Who the victim is should not be a factor, only what happened to him. Why should my children be less protected then someone else? Or more for that matter. Fair is fair.
