Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader Interview Gets Awkward

When it becomes clear reporter hasn't seen 'The Skeleton Twins'

Here's a tip for entertainment reporters: If you're about to interview two actors about their new movie, you might want to actually watch the movie first, or at least have some vague idea of the plot. Chris Parente apparently did not follow this advice; his interview with Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader went entertainingly off-script this weekend when it became clear he had no idea what The Skeleton Twins was about. "Kristen, I am thinking on this program of doing the news completely full-frontal, completely nude," Parente said. "Do you recommend that, and do you have advice for going nude?" A baffled Wiig informed Parente that she does not, in fact, go nude in The Skeleton Twins; she goes nude in Welcome to Me, Mashable reports.

Things got more amusing from there, as Wiig and Hader started listing plot points that don't actually happen in the film and Parente continued to prove he had not, in fact, seen it, while also playing along ("Are you a bridesmaid in this one?" he asked Wiig). "Chris, this is live," Hader reminded Parente at one point. "Trust me, I will be seeing it when it opens in Denver," Parente says. "I will never work in Hollywood again."
