In what Thai authorities insisted was "sabotage" and not terrorism, a wave of apparently co-ordinated bombs killed at least four people and injured dozens more across the country overnight. CNN reports that at least 11 bombs went off in five provinces Thursday night and early Friday morning, including two deadly ones in the resort city of Hua Hin. No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts, which come five days after a referendum approved a constitution that gives the ruling military junta a permanent role in politics, reports the BBC, which notes that Friday was a public holiday for the Thai queen's birthday. (A poll carried out by the military last year found that 99.3% declined to complain about military rule.)
