OJ Simpson's new digs are a big upgrade from a prison cell. TMZ reports he's currently living in a 5,000-square-foot Las Vegas mansion, inside a gated community and next to a golf course. The five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home includes its own private putting green as well, plus a pool and a hot tub. A longtime friend of Simpson's who testified on his behalf in his Vegas robbery trial owns the home, sources tell TMZ.
As for what he's doing there, sources say so far he's just lying low at the house (his daughter Arnelle may be making sure he gets home-cooked meals), but TMZ also reports he's already back to work, sort of. On Tuesday night, he was photographed signing memorabilia in a private room at a Vegas hotel, and he was allegedly planning to do the same Wednesday night. The gossip site speculates the signed goods will be sold to auctioneers—and points out that Simpson owes $100 million to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman as a result of the civil verdict against him, so he'll either be forced to hand over any money he makes or risk violating his parole by taking money under the table to avoid handing it over.
