Today's installment in the drip-drip-drip of old Christine O'Donnell comments: "I dabbled into witchcraft." She made the statement on Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect in the '90s, and he happily rolled out the video on his HBO show, notes Scott Baker at the Blaze. Maher joked that he'll keeping unearthing embarrassing clips until she appears as a guest. He added that O'Donnell might be more successful than Sarah Palin because Palin "is mean and Christine is not." (For the record on the witchcraft thing, O'Donnell said she was just hanging out with friends and "never joined a coven.")

Observes Frances Martel at Mediaite: "The bizarre thing about the 'attacks' on O’Donnell so far is that few, if any, have anything to do with actual policy. ... Her Tea Party compatriots—Rand Paul, Sharron Angle, Marco Rubio, et al—have all been viciously attacked on policy. O’Donnell is being attacked for having been cutesy and wacky in the 90s, (as if she were the only person who was cutesy and wacky in the 90s)."
