A Florida man is accused of committing a hate crime after allegedly stabbing another man for being Muslim—a fact he learned while the two were talking about religion. Bradley Kent Strott, 52, became angry when he found out about the other man's religion. He “grabbed the victim by his shirt, and stabbed him in the neck with his pocket knife,” according to the police affidavit. “The defendant stated that Muslims are the root of the problem.” Strott was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, the St. Petersburg Times reports.
