Molly Oswaks is one of two female writers at the tech blog Gizmodo, and you'll get a pretty good sense of how that goes over among male commenters with her post headlined, "Your Nasty, Nerdy Sexism Isn't Cute." Based on the feedback she's gotten, Oswaks is compelled to break the news that technology is not just for guys. She also has to dispel the notion that she must have gotten her job because Gizmodo has a gender quota or ... worse:

"Some of you seem to be under the misguided impression that sexual favors are the only way a woman could possibly end up writing for a tech blog—wrong. And you know what? It's not just wrong, it's rude," she writes. And, for the record, "no mistake I have ever made in a Gizmodo post has anything to do with the fact that you have a penis and I do not."
