In what is sure to be a futile move, CBS is warning Grammys performers and presenters not to bare any breasts, buttocks, or genitalia while onscreen, reports Deadline. The network's Standard and Practice department sent out a "Wardrobe Advisory" in advance of Sunday's awards ceremony that includes quite a few unintentionally hilarious lines:

  • "Thong type costumes are problematic."
  • "Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack."
  • "Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples."
  • "Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure."

Deadline, which obtained a copy of the memo, notes that CBS is fighting a losing battle considering "nudity is the norm" at the Grammys. Perhaps the network is still reeling from its Super Bowl F-bomb... (More Grammy Awards stories.)
