A Montana newlywed turned herself into a widow just eight days into her marriage by pushing her husband off a cliff in Glacier National Park, police say. Jordan Linn Graham, 22, has told investigators that she argued with Cody Johnson, 25, while they walking on a steep hiking trail on July 7, and when he tried to grab her arm. Court documents say that "after removing Johnson's hand from her arm, Graham stated she could have just walked away, but due to her anger, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back and as a result, he fell face first off the cliff," reports the Missoulian.

Graham had initially told police that her husband had disappeared after getting into a car with Washington plates. Investigators become suspicious when she "discovered" his body a few days later, claiming she knew where it was because it "was a place he wanted to see before he died." A family friend says "nobody is shocked" by Graham's confession. "She'd been telling people she knew she never wanted to be married, she just wanted to have a wedding, and that’s apparently what they were arguing about," she says. (More murder stories.)
