A Connecticut pastor managed to get a long-ago infidelity off his chest before he died—but only just. Parishioners say Bishop Bobby Davis asked them to stay behind after a Sunday service at Bridgeport's Miracle Faith World Outreach church so he could confess something to them. After he came clean, he collapsed and died as members of the congregation shouted at him. "We were shouting, 'We forgive you, we love you,' but the stress of all of it—he had a heart attack," one parishioner tells the Connecticut Post.

Another parishioner, however, tells the Christian Post that chaos ensued after the bishop's wife of 50 years pushed him to confess and other family members reacted angrily. "I was told one of the daughters poured water on him," the source says. "It was like something out of, not even like the Old Testament, but a bad reality TV show." After interviewing parishioners and reviewing video from inside the church, police decided there was no criminal aspect to the death; the medical examiner's office is still working to determine the cause.
