Cops: 9-Year-Old Steals Car to Skip School

A 9-year-old boy in Florida wanted to skip school so badly that he stole his mother's car, police say. The unidentified kid managed to drive around for about 45 minutes before pulling over for police, reports the Miami Herald. "He could barely see over the steering wheel," a detective tells Local 10, but he still managed to cruise around accident-free during his joyride. The Miami Gardens youth now faces charges of grand theft auto. Though young, he's got a good 8 and a half years over this fugitive infant in Pakistan. (More weird crimes stories.)
