Netflix is ramping up its push into original programming with its first-ever talk show. Chelsea Handler, who is wrapping up her Chelsea Lately show on E! this summer, has signed on for a show set to begin in early 2016, reports the Daily News. Before its launch, Handler will deliver several comedy specials to Netflix. The 39-year-old pulls in $9 million a year for the E! show, notes the Hollywood Reporter. Her Netflix pay wasn't announced, but the company "is known to pay top dollar," says the report. “If I was going to continue working in this industry, I knew I had to do something outside the box to keep myself interested," says Handler.
