Joan Didion Talks About Her Fashion Ad

Joan Didion didn't "have any clue" of the sensation she caused when it was revealed this week that the 80-year-old writer is the newest face of fashion house Céline, she tells the New York Times. Beyond that, she didn't have much to say: "They got in touch with me," she said, adding that she's a longtime fan and is "fortunate enough to own a few" of the brand's items.
