Election 2016 got The Simpsons treatment over the weekend, and while neither candidate escaped unscathed, there was a clear endorsement at the two-minute short's end. The video, released Saturday, is a spoof of Hillary Clinton's 2008 "3am call" ad, with Homer and Marge getting amorous until Marge declares she just "can't make love until I've decided who to vote for." Cue the TV ad, ringing phone, and the narrator's deep "Who do you want to answer that call?" Clinton—that would be Bill—answers it first until he's admonished by Hillary, who reminds him, "From now on, it's always for me."

Trump is up next, and he's too busying tweeting and issuing orders into his phone ("make Chris Christie eat a worm just for laughs") to get to the Situation Room immediately. A hair and makeup team then descends, revealing, in the process, just how his skin, hair, and non-small hands look just so. But these things take time and when Trump's phone rings a second time, he answers: "We're too late? The Chinese fleet is advancing? Just build another wall. Yes! In the ocean, loser." Marge's mind is made up; Homer sheepishly asks if Trump is the right choice. See how it ends here. (More Election 2016 stories.)
