As President Trump was busily trading jabs with the media at the Gridiron Dinner, Alec Baldwin was merrily mocking his favorite target's chaotic week on Saturday Night Live, joking that the recently departed Hope Hicks is "like a daughter to me. So smart, so hot. You know, I hate seeing her go but I love watching her walk away." Further, per the New York Times, "Jared Kushner’s basically the hottest chick left in the place." Hicks appeared in a later segment, played by Cecily Strong, notes USA Today, and compared the White House to summer camp, in which "you barely get any sleep and then everybody leaves after eight weeks." "Some people dance in our lives and quickly go," Strong lamented. "But they always leave footprints on our hearts, and fingerprints on Russian documents." Charles Barkley guest-hosted, video highlights are in the gallery, and the New York Times has a rundown of the Baldwin-Trump feud. (More Saturday Night Live stories.)
