Tragedy for the Turner family: Craig Turner, eldest son of Tina Turner, has died in an apparent suicide. The 59-year-old was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his California home Tuesday, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. Craig was born when Tina Turner was just 18. His biological father was Raymond Hill, a saxophonist who played with Ike Turner's band Kings of Rhythm, but Ike adopted him after marrying Tina, Page Six reports. His younger brother is 57-year-old Ronnie Turner, Tina's child with Ike. Raymond Hill, like Tina, is still alive, though Ike died in late 2007.

Craig worked as a realtor in the San Fernando Valley and was a member of the elite National Association of Realtors organization, reports Variety. There has been no public statement yet from Tina Turner, who now lives in Switzerland and was seen at an event in Paris before the shocking news. "Just two hours ago I posted the pic of Tina Turner at the Armani show in Paris, she was with Juliette Binoche," tweeted a fan, per In Touch. "Devastation to know she just lost her son Craig Turner."
