A bittersweet, "I'm not crying, you're crying" type of story picked up by BuzzFeed is going viral. Twitter user eyelean posted last week that her dad is a mailman who enjoys giving out treats to the dog friends he's made along his route. When he got to the home of a German Shepherd he knew, he found a bag of dog treats waiting for him along with this note: "Gretchen passed away yesterday. She asked me to ask you if you would share her treats that she never got to finish with the other dogs on your route. She always enjoyed seeing you come to the door and was always happy to get a snack from you. Thank you." Twitter, of course, is ugly crying over the story; see BuzzFeed for some of the reactions, including a grateful one from Gretchen's owner himself. (Need a funny Twitter story to laugh away the tears?
