Prosecutors Want Felicity Huffman to Go to Prison

Prosecutors want to see Felicity Huffman admitted to prison for her role in the college admissions bribery scandal. They say the actress should serve between four and 10 months in federal prison for paying a consultant $15,000 to have her daughter's SAT answers altered, according to court documents seen by the New York Times. Huffman and 12 other parents have agreed to plead guilty to charges in the admissions scheme. As part of a plea deal, prosecutors have agreed to push for the lower end of the four- to 10-month range for Huffman, along with a fine of $20,000 and a year of supervised release. Huffman, who says her daughter knew nothing about the scheme, is due in court for a sentencing hearing May 21.
