A married couple's dispute over pornography ended with the husband shot dead in the shed he called his "man cave." Arkansas woman Patricia Hill, 69, was sentenced to 16 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of the second-degree murder of husband Frank Hill, 65. Her attorney, Bill James, tells NBC that Hill "kept finding pornography stashed and hidden" during the couple's 17-year marriage. The lawyer, who describes his client as a religious woman who taught Sunday school, says Frank Hill would often watch pornography in his "man cave," and his wife "felt like the devil was in that shed."

Two months before the July 2018 shooting, Patricia Hill filed for divorce but her husband begged her to reconsider. During her trial, the jury heard that she had flown into a rage after receiving a cable bill and discovering that her husband had resubscribed to a porn channel after she cut it off. James says Hill confronted her husband in his shed but didn't mean to kill him. He says Hill shot her husband in the leg, then fired a "warning shot" that hit him in the head. Hill was originally charged with capital murder but the jury chose to convict her of the lesser charge, the Pine Bluff Commercial reports. She has been in jail since the shooting and with good behavior, she will be eligible to apply for parole in just over three years. (More Arkansas stories.)
