You can barely swing a cat in San Francisco without hitting a few billionaires, according to a new study. The Wealth-X "Billionaire Census" found that the Silicon Valley city has far more billionaires per capita than any other city in the world: One per 11,600 residents. The nearest rival was New York City, with one billionaire per 81,311 residents, followed by Dubai and Hong Kong, KRON4 reports. The study found that while the number of billionaires worldwide fell to 2,600 last year, largely due to an economic slowdown in China, the number was up by 4% in the US, "consolidating its position as the world's dominant billionaire country," Vox reports. (Wealthy San Francisco residents recently lost a fight against a homeless shelter.)
