Michael Wolff is ready for round two. The author of Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House (and Newser co-founder) has written a follow-up, and it'll hit shelves in less than three weeks. Siege: Trump Under Fire will be released by Henry Holt on June 4. The publisher says the book is based on interviews with 150 people—and Mike Allen at Axios reports that group is said to include more than two-thirds of the "essential sources" who spoke with Wolff the first time around. Allen adds the sources include former senior officials and people outside the White House who speak with Trump at night.

The book covers the period running from the start of Trump's second year in office to the delivery of the Mueller report. A line from the publisher: "Siege reveals an administration that is perpetually beleaguered by investigations and a president who is increasingly volatile, erratic, and exposed." CNN reports Wednesday's announcement bucks the typical practice of touting books months ahead of publication. In this case, CNN sees Henry Holt's decision to keep quiet on the existence of the sequel until just three weeks before it drops as one designed "for maximum impact." Fire and Fury sold more than 4 million copies. (Here's what Wolff had to say about Trump upon the release of his first book.)
