James Holzhauer steamrollered the competition on Jeopardy! once again Wednesday night, winning $71,855 for a total of $1,939,027 over his 25-game winning streak. His daily average over the run is $77,561—higher than the pre-Holzhauer single-day winnings record—meaning he is likely to pass the $2 million mark Thursday, USA Today reports.

Some have expressed concern that the professional gambler, who entered Final Jeopardy Wednesday more than $36,000 ahead of the only other contestant remaining, could cause financial problems for the show, though he has done wonders for its ratings: The Wrap reports that Jeopardy! ratings soared to a 14-year high while Holzhauer was racking up wins in early May, then dived 27% the following week while regular play was on hiatus for a teachers' tournament.
