A minor-league baseball team has apologized for a Memorial Day scoreboard video that showed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in league with Kim Jong Un and Fidel Castro as "enemies of freedom." The Fresno Grizzlies have since apologized to the freshman member of Congress, the Fresno Bee reports. "It was a mistake, and we will ensure that nothing like it ever happens again," the team said in a statement addressed to fans and veterans, adding, "We unconditionally apologize to Rep. Ocasio-Cortez." The team said the video was produced by an outside company and hadn't been watched by team officials. The Grizzlies, a Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, showed the video between games of a doubleheader Monday night.

Entitled a "Memorial Day Tribute—We Are Americans," the video included patriotic images projected over audio excerpts from President Ronald Reagan's first inaugural address. About three minutes in—at the point when Reagan says, "As for the enemies of freedom, those who are potential adversaries"—an image of an Antifa member was shown, then one of Kim, then Ocasio-Cortez, then Castro. The Grizzlies said the video "made a statement that was not our intent and certainly not our opinion." A call to Ocasio-Cortez's office for comment was not immediately returned, per CNN.
