Angela Merkel was seen shaking uncontrollably Tuesday during a welcoming ceremony for Ukraine's president—but she blames dehydration and says all is fine now. "I've drunk at least three glasses of water, which I apparently needed, and now I'm doing very well," the German chancellor said at a news conference an hour after the appearance, reports ABC News. It was about 86 degrees in the German capital as Merkel and Volodymyr Zelenskiy stood in the sun and listened to the two countries' anthems, per the BBC. "She was standing next to me and completely safe," added Zelenskiy. Merkel, about to turn 65, plans to step down as chancellor in 2021. (More Angela Merkel stories.)
