McLaren Driver Has Car Impounded After 10 Minutes
   (West Vancouver Police)

A Canadian man got to enjoy his brand new $240,000 supercar for a whole 10 minutes before it was confiscated by police. Police in West Vancouver say the 2019 McLaren 600LT was recorded going 100mph in a 55mph zone on June 17, CTV reports. After the driver was pulled over, he told the officer he "had just left the dealership after purchasing the vehicle, 10 minutes prior," police say. The vehicle was towed away and impounded for seven days, reports the Vancouver Sun. The 39-year-old driver was cited for excessive speeding and received a $280 ticket. (This German teenager lost his driver's license after 49 minutes.)
