First Meghan Markle and Prince Harry irked taxpayers with their home redo. Then they set off an "almighty storm" with an ultra-private christening for baby Archie. Now Markle is being accused of harboring a "secretive, high-maintenance attitude," and making "diva-ish demands" after apparently trying to get people to stop taking pictures of her while she watched Serena Williams play at Wimbledon last week, per USA Today. Those were the words of British journalist Sally Jones, who says she was seated in Markle's row, taking pictures of Williams, when a security guard asked her to not take pictures of Markle. "I told him it was bonkers and that, even if I had been trying to snap the Duchess, I'd have got a blurry picture of her right ear," an irritated Jones tells the Sun, noting in her own piece in the Telegraph that it was "particularly irrational" to expect privacy at such a huge public event.

Other big names across the pond agreed, including Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan. "This is so ridiculous," he said on Tuesday's show. "If you want to be private, go back to America and live privately." Another Telegraph columnist advises Markle to "get over yourself, love," making a declaration on the royal couple's quest for privacy that's sure to rankle Harry: "Diana would never have done it." Not everyone, however, is on the "pile on Meghan" train, with criticism especially for Morgan's "misogynistic" and "spiteful" comments. And as for comparisons to Diana: "Prince Harry witnessed the UK media's abusive behavior and intrusion of privacy towards his mother and he is making sure his family will not face that same fate," one commenter noted, per the Independent.
