Metallica is working on a new release: a heavy metal … children’s book. The ABCs of Metallica "looks back at the history of the band," with each letter of the alphabet highlighting "a moment along our journey from Garage Days to Master of Puppets to fun facts about us," reads a post on the band's website. It notes a portion of proceeds will go to the band's charity foundation, All Within My Hands, "as we continue to support workforce education and the fight against hunger." The foundation was launched in February 2017. Writer Howie Abrams contributed to the writing of the book, illustrated by Michael "Kaves" McLeer, per Rolling Stone. It's set for release on Nov. 26, with pre-orders now available at a cost of $18.99. (More Metallica stories.)
